Lydia Tomkiw is a reporter focused on hedge funds for the Financial Times’ FundFire. Her writing has appeared in publications including The Christian Science Monitor, Foreign Policy, International Business Times, and the Nieman Journalism Lab at Harvard. She has reported from Ukraine and Indonesia.
She is also the assistant editor for Nationalities Papers. From 2011-2012, Lydia was a Princeton in Asia journalism fellow at The Jakarta Globe where she worked as a journalist and web editor. She was the 2015 Google Journalism fellow at the Committee to Protect Journalists. She received her BA with honors from Wesleyan University in 2011 and a Master’s degree in International Affairs from Columbia University in 2015.
